Aluminium 3 bar Chequered plate/ treadplate shares most of the uses as the 5 bar Chequered plate. However, the 3 bar Chequered plate is less Skid proof, less rigid and has slightly lower strength than the 5 bar Chequered plate. The 3 bar pattern provides a more subtle visual texture compared to the 5 bar therefore better for aesthetics.
